Kenmare Arts Festival 2026 – Update on the Windows Exhibition

We regret that we will be unable to host the Windows Exhibition this year. Unfortunately, the festival received no funding from Kerry County Council for 2026, and without those resources we simply cannot deliver the exhibition to the standard it deserves.

We know how much this event has meant to the artists and community over the past four years, and we are genuinely grateful to everyone who has contributed to making it such a distinctive and joyful part of the festival.

This year’s programme remains full of energy and creativity, with four exhibitions, five literary events, and over twenty‑five workshops taking place throughout the festival. We’re proud to continue supporting and showcasing the remarkable artistic talent in Kenmare and beyond.

We hope to secure funding for 2027 and look forward to the possibility of bringing the Windows Exhibition back next year.
